Mending with Tara
Wednesday, November 18, 2:00-4:00pm at the
Wheel Club Community Center
1000 East 4th Street, La Center, WA 98628
Just two examples of the creative ways you can both mend and embellish your clothes!
Give your favorite clothes a second life during this workshop led by Tara McMahan!
This workshop will teach you how to visibly mend holes or cover stains on your clothes. Instead of hiding the repair, these fun, creative techniques will highlight the stories in your fabric.
You will learn and practice these techniques: Sashiko, appliqué and patch work.
Bring clothing that needs a little care (cotton or cotton blend only!). All other supplies will be provided and are yours to keep.
$15 suggested donation. Walk-ins are welcome; you can also register for the workshop by clicking the button below.
