Did you know?
Alpaca fleece is naturally hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. It contains no lanolin, a common irritant found in sheep's wool.
Led by our long-term local Member Chris McDonald, the Alpaca Moma, who has extensive experience as a fiber artist and is well-known for her wonderful work. This art form is very tactile and we think you’ll really enjoy it. You’ll even get to take home your supplies!
In this workshop you’ll learn:

- How to Roll the Wool
- Stabbing Techniques
- Shaping and Firming
- Adding Details
- Finishing

Calligraphy with Dan & Cindy

All hand lettering begins with calligraphy!
Members Request! Join Dan and Cindy as they teach you how to create fancy letters with just a few bold strokes. Start by learning the basics, then practice your skills and have some fun with it.
• Easy step-by-step instructions included in a take-home booklet.
• All supplies provided, or you can bring your own favorite tool kit.

Bristles-n-Nibs Art Gatherings
Bristles-n-Nibs is FREE fun and informal Open Studio hosted by La Center Arts 3x per month. You're invited
to join a group of local creatives who gather to work on individual projects in an atmosphere that promotes creativity, experimentation, encouragement, cultural exchange and conversation. If you're seeking collaboration to help complete your project, it's available. If a quiet corner to work alone is what you need, there's room for you. Bring your project, materials and supplies and spend this 3-hours making progress. Tables and chairs are already set-up for you!
Walk-ins welcome! No registration required.

La Center Arts Council is pleased to have you display and sell your artwork at our community event and are expecting good public attendance due to additional advertising this year. When you Register, you will be asked for your Washington State UBI#. If you did not submit that you will be contacted by our Executive Treasurer to provide it. You may apply for a Washington State Business License, using the DOR Business Licensing Wizard here:
